A few days ago I made a post about this new tool to get free traffic to your blog, called BlogRush. And as most of you I’ve joined them also to see if it’s really delivering what it says.
I must say I’m amazed, last time I’ve looked at my referrers, I saw quite a few readers coming to my site via the BlogRush widget.
So it works! What even is a bigger advantage, you can even show up on the big blogs like John Chow’s make money online blog, like I did yesterday.
One of his visitors was even interested in my Belgium up for sale post.
So one of the key things to consider is think very careful about what your title should be. This is the first thing others will see that could lead them to your site.
Most of the times when I post something, I first write my post and then think about a catchy title that reflects the content of the post. My rule is, would I click on this link?
A good title answers yes in this case.
Also, make sure the content of your post reflects what your title says, don’t lie. If your title says, “look good naturally”, then don’t post content that’s about celebrity plastic surgery, that will be completely off topic.
So the big question, why you also should join the Blogrush hype has a few anwsers.
Little talk about the referral program, it’s not gonna make you money, at least not directly from BlogRush, but it will get you more exposure.
You earn credits, every time their widget loads on your page, the more page loads you’ll have, the more credits you’ll get to show up on other blogs.
But the most beautiful part is that everyone who joins via your id, shows up into your referral network, this can go to 10 generations deep.
Meaning that every page-load in your referral network also counts in for a percentage per generation to earn credits for your account.
So a win/win situation for everyone.
PS, don’t forget to sign up at BlogRush, if you didn’t already ![]()
In the newspaper today I’ve read that there was a guy here that put Belgium up for sale at e-Bay.
As a Belgian myself, I fully understand him, we had to vote 100 days ago and untill now nothing has happened with our votes.
There’s still no governement and it’s not looking there’s going to be one soon.
The last time it took this long was on the last term of Wilfried Martens in 1988 I believe. Then it took 145 days or so to form a new governement.
Comparing to other countries Belgium is really complex. First of all we have 3 different languages here, Dutch, French and German.
But on political level it really gets complex. We have all kind of different parlements, Flemish, Normal, ...
And the most beautifull part of it is that it seems like nobody can make a decission without the other. If one parlement tells ‘this’, the other has to into the opposite way.
I think they make a sport out of it.
The reason why we don’t have a new governement by now to me is that the french speaking politicians are to stuburn to give in to the flemish politicians.
Everybody here’s talking about splitting Belgium up into 2 countries. Why did we vote 100 days back if no one is listening to our votes? Why can’t they just elect the politicians who got the most votes from the belgian people, is it to easy or what? Maybe it’s a nice solution, splitting Belgium, I’m sure it will have a lot of advantages for the flemish people, like no more money being transferred from ‘Vlaanderen’ (dutch speaking side) to ‘Wallonië’ (french speaking side).
In my eyes he created a fantastic joke, by putting Belgium up for sale, maybe he was thinking if the sale can go trough I can get old rich and enjoy the senior care in New York City. ![]()
Too bad e-Bay declined the offer, I really would love to see how much Belgium was worth.
A couple of years ago I got my first tattoo, a tribal that I’ve created myself. And I must say that it took me a while to finally get the design the way I wanted it.
And because I always wanted a big tattoo on my back that slightly runs onto my shoulders I’ve been looking around for some great tattoo designs to get a little inspiration to create a new one.
This way I’m sure I wont regret that I’ve chosen this particular tattoo, hell, I designed it myself, so it must be damn good. ![]()
Here are a few tips that hopefully help you to choose a tattoo that you can enjoy for the rest of your life.
So how do you guys or girls choose a tattoo? On the fly? Really think about it, or also design them yourself?
Lately I’m reading all kind of blogs or sites, some are just for reading, others are for learning. And every now and then there are some good posts out there that should be brought up to my readers attention.
So I was thinking why not make a post out of it once in a while? Here’s number 1, happy reading.
This concludes my first 5 tips for you guys.

Earlier today I received a mail with a new site called Blogrush.
It’s a traffic trading system for blogs, it will only show blogs that are related to yours.
It’s a simple trade system and of course your site and posts get shown on other blogs in your area. So if your post gets on to the widget on an other blog and that blog gets a lot of traffic, all these visitors will see your post title.
So get your brain working to generate some good titles to attract visitors from other blogs to visit your blog.
It’s a really neat idea.
All you have to do is sign up and put the Blogrush widget on your site. BlogRush users earn “syndication credits”. With these credits, they have the right to post titles shown inside a widget on another related blog. This is all based on their own traffic as well as the traffic of other users they refer to BlogRush.
Because this is a brand new site, it can help your blog to promote Blogrush as soon as possible, before everyone is doing it.
