Christmas Holiday is the time of the year to go on a ski-trip. Especially if you want a white Christmas. Maybe if we’re very lucky, we’ll have one in Belgium this year. In fact, at some places it did snow today. The forecasts for the next few days are very cold, so it can happen. I’ll Keep my fingers crossed.
But as said in my holidays are coming post I have to work this year during the Christmas holidays. So If I’m going to ski it will be around the end of January or a few weeks later. Where I don’t know. The last few times I went skiing I went to Meribel, France, St Anton, Austria and to Courcheval, France.
The best Luxury Skiing holidays we had was in Courcheval. Together with the whole family (about 35 people) we’ve rented a couple of chalets in Courchevel and had a fantastic time.
But this time I rather go alone with my girlfriend and daughter to enjoy some precious moments together. Because we did have a very nice time at Courcheval, this is one of the top locations on our list for this skiing trip. But only time will tell what we’re going to.
Maybe anyone of you has some good suggestions where we can go to?
On the 4th and 5th of February 2008 the kick-off of the 2008 PPC Summit will be given in Dallas, USA.
PPC Summits focus solidly on advertiser education: how to spend less money, more effectively, with better results.
In these interactive 2 day sessions they’ll introduce everyone who will attend the summit whit the foundational strategies and skills that’ll make you a successful PPC marketer.
There will be experts from the field talking about Google AdWords, Yahoo Search Marketing (YSM) , Microsoft adCenter and also smaller PPC engines.
They also address what you need to track and how to do it, identifying keywords that really drive conversions, effective SEM copywriting and wich tools and resources that can help you further on to a good Click Trough Rate (CTR).
Some SEM strategies they’ll topic are, bidding strategies, how to create an effective landing page, recognize click fraud, …
And if you’ll have questions, you can get them answered by the experts.
As I said, the start will be given in Dallas, but the PPC Summit will be held in other cities also, even in Europe.
The seminars itself will be kept small, so attandees can really interact with the eperts that are presenting.

A few days back I accidently stumbled on Laura’s Million Dollars Journey and I started reading her blog.
Towards other similar blogs, I feel it’s really standing out because she’s really writes down her personal thoughts over the subject.
It also showed me that I have some work to do. If you look at her advertisement page, you can immediately see what she wants. Something I still have to work out, shame on me ![]()
When I looked at her online income posts they showed me she’s making $15/day, that’s $5475 in 1 year. So not bad at all I must say.
So, what has all of this to do with the Million Dollar Community I hear you think?
Well, last couple of months I read a lot of tips from other bloggers who did made a success of their blogs. One of the most mentioned tips I came by was partnering up with fellow bloggers.
The background after this theory is that at starters all blogs are small, but some will grow out big to very big. At the time one of your partners as a decent level the smaller blogs will benefit from this.
So the bigger this Million Dollar Community becomes the better for all of us who are in it.
What are my intentions to get from the Million Dollar Community?
Well for starters, traffic for sure. I’m very honest about this.
But I also have other things in mind:
What’s in it for those who join the Million Dollar Community?
I hope exactly the same as I want to gain from it. And if you’re going on a holiday for a few weeks, maybe you can ask one or a few people of the community to take over your blog during this period, so your blog will continue to feed your readers.
What are the requirements to join?
Will the community be limited to just a few?
I really don’t know, this is one of the things we have to work out at the very start, but I think limit it to 10 or 20 at the start.
What do you have to do to join?
Leave a comment or mail me.
How can you see who is in the Million Dollar Community?
I’m going to create a special page for this somewhere next week, where I’ll put the name and site of everybody who joined.
Come to think about it, this is what I’ve said at the very beginning in my about page.
BTW Laura from Million Dollars Journey is the 1st member who joined.
I’m sure I can attract some people to the Million Dollar Community, but to make sure, please spread the word, we all want this to be a succes!
Lately I’ve been doing some research on how to work on my internal link building.
Fist of I need to check my internal sites PageRank. This can be done at livepr.info
Simply select “Check PR of internal pages”, put in your domain and let the site configure a list with all your links and the PageRank the internal sitelink represents. Be patient, it can take a while.
Although this site will check your internal sites PageRank all at once, I don’t like the site that much because I’ve found a very interesting site that visualizes your PageRank links on your site itself.
This site is called iWebTool. You only have to put in the name of your site and they will display an overlay on your site that contains all the PageRank info you need.
I do realize that this tool won’t check all your links at once like livepr is doing, but I really like the way they still show your site.
At their homepage they also have some other usefull tools, like: BackLink checker, rank checker, link popularity, ping test, …
On the WebTools tab, their even more tools. The ‘Link Price Calculator’ is worth a look also.
To conclude, it’s a bit more work with the Visual PageRank tool, but I don’t mind to do it like this. Would you?
