Yesterday I implemented part 4 of my quest to more RSS Subscribers.
Just underneath the first post’s title I’m displaying some text where I politely ask you to subscribe to my RSS feed either by RSS reader or by email.

And today I’m going to make work of part 5.
In part 5 I’m going to reward everyone who’s part of the EntreCard community and subscribes to my Full feed RSS by email. If you leave me a message with your EntreCard profile in it or send me an Entrecard message, I’ll add 100EC to your account.

And to make it a little RSS Link Exchange, I was thinking about the following.

If you want me to subscribe to your RSS feed by email, I’ll just give you 50EC instead of 100EC. Just ask me, no problem!
You can leave me a message here or on Entrecard.
If you aren’t a member of the Entrecard Community, I’ll subscribe to your feed to if you ask me, but you best leave a comment in this post then, or mail me via my contact form.

For those who are new here, the first step I’d take to get more RSS readers was the redesign of my site. That’s where it all started. I made sure the RSS button to subscribe was placed on a prominent place at my blog, so every visitor like you, could see it in a blink of an eye.

A few weeks later I subscribed to RSSHugger. If I look at my stats I see that RSSHugger is delivering some traffic like it promises, but I think that’s mostly because of my ranking in their Top100 list.

In the next few days I’m going to search for some other sites or techniques to gain some new RSS readers. If I find something interesting, I’ll keep you posted. Or do you have some interesting tips?
