Everyone wants to have as much traffic to their site as possible, no?
So how can we achieve this?
There are different kind of methods for this, today I’ll explain method 1.
For those who haven’t claimed their blog at Technorati (yes there still are
), do so by clicking the link.
After you signed up you have the possibility to enter your blog and then Claim it to get ‘RANKED’.
So now we’ve got ranked, what can we do to improve this rank? (The lower the number the higher you stand in the list)
- You can simply put new content on your site and let Technorati know that you’re site is updated via a ping, or automate it via your blogging-software.
- Write good content so another blog writes about your post and thus you gain ‘authority’ (This is also an important factor on how the Technorati ranking is calculated.
Or you can take part in ‘The Technorati Challenge’ that I’ll explain here.
It’s very easy, since you already created an account and got ranked, you can also favor other blogs that are subscribed.
So let us all get linked to each other. Favor my blog on Technorati by clicking here.
Post a comment that you favored my blog and I’ll favor your blog on my Technorati account.
For every 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and so on commentator, please also include the previous commentators blog into your favorites list as we all can help each other to get our rank up in the sky.
Or check back for new comments to include into your account.
If we got enough people to favor each other, we can even make one of us appear into the Technorati top 100. We only need 256 people to favor 1 particular blog (last time I’ve checked). We should at least try to get one of you guys into this top list.
As a result people will notice your blog faster and they’ll find their way to read your fantastic blog easier, meaning more traffic!
And please keep me updated with your rankings
