Yup, you did read it right, the title says Tarek Bin Laden, a cousin of the Bin Laden we all know. He’s the first one to buy a new supersonic airplane called “Aerion” developed by AerionCorp headquartered in Reno, Nevada.
The inspiration for the name lies in the Greek mythology, Aerion was the name of a very fast horse.
The airplane will be 148.3 feet long with a wingspan of 64.2 feet and an overall height of 23.3 feet. (A Boeing bizjet, the 737-700 in comparison weighs 154,500 lbs, is 110.2 ft. long with a wingspan of 117.4 feet and a high of 41.3 feet.)
It will travel the skies at a maximum cruise speed of 1.6 Mach. A trip from Paris to New York will only take 4 hours and 14 minutes.

I’m sure that plane costs a pretty penny.
