9 to 10 months a go I bought myself a pair of Adidas F30 soccer boots.  And my experience with them is that they’re great, too bad I can’t use them anymore now. So I went to the store thinking I was going to buy a new pair of Adidas boots.
When I tried the new F30’s, they seem to fit very well, although I don’t have small feet. But when I walked and jumped a little bit to really try them out I felt a lot of pressure in my foot from the shoe. Turns out my feet are a bit to wide for these boots.
Up to new soccer boots then, but what to choose. There are so many different pairs of shoes to chose from. I asked a guy who was working there for some info what to look for.
He asked me what kind of player I was? So I told him I play as a left fielder or as an striker. And that I always take the freekicks and penalties.
He immediately told me that I needed a light, synthetic shoe that will give me total control over the ball and is nice to run with because if you play in the midfield you’ll have to do a lot of running.
The Adidas F30 and F50 are ideal for a kind of player like me, but out of the picture because they’re too small and the F50 is to expensive in my opinion. He showed me some Nike Total 90 Strike FG soccer boots instead.
I tried them on and they immediately fitted very well, even when I walked and jumped a bit. Didn’t felt any pain in my foot from the shoe itself. After this pair I tried a few other pairs but there wasn’t any other pair that fitted like the Nike’s.
According to the guy from the store this pair has a big advantage against other soccer boots, only the Adidas Predator is similar. It features a clean strike zone for improved accuracy, swerve and power. At least that’s what they say. I didn’t tested it yet. Next Sunday I’m going to try them out for real.
I hope I can play as many good matches an score even more goals with these shoes as with the previous one’s.
