A couple of months back I’ve made a list about which advertisement programs I would like to test out in the future. Well today it’s time to take TNX.net for a spin.

Before I continue, there are a few requirements your site needs to have. Without it it’s very unlikely to get approved.

• Preferable to have at least a PageRank 1
• Preferred are second level domains (.com, .net, ..) with paid hosting
• Site must be at least 6 months old
• Site must contain minimum 30 pages
• presence in a major catalogue, DMOZ preferred
• PHP is a MUST

Just earlier today I’ve created myself a login, password and I’ve added this site to their listings so they can review it and approved it.

After this there’s a bit of code you’ll have to insert into your site. Remember that this code requires PHP to be executed.
There’re 2 possibilities, either Static Code or Static code that’s cached on your server side.

When this is done, you’ll have to wait a bit so your pages will be indexed by TNX. After this you’re ready to sell links on your site.

How does this work?
If the system code is placed on your website, all the links that are purchased by advertisers will be automatically displayed on all pages that have the code included. If a link is sold to one of their advertisers, you will get paid for it. So the more pages you’ll have on your site, the more links you could sell. The price of the link is based on the page’s search ngine rating. Links are sold automatically, so you don’t have to do anything.
If you sell some links, you’ll earn some TNX points.
With these points, you can use them to buy advertisement yourself, or you can sell them to another TNX member that is willing to pay for it.

So far the webmasters part of TNX. Now we’re going to take a look at the Advertisers part.

As talked about above, you’ll get some TNX points for every link that’s sold on your page. In the advertisers area you can use these points to buy links to your site from other sites.
Simply create a campaign by giving it a name, choose appropriate categories where you want your link to appear. You can also geo-target your links to a few specific languages, of course English, but also Spanish, French, Italian and a few other. Another thing you can specify is the sites where you will be publishing on. You can choose to only advertise on sites with more than 5000 backlinks from Yahoo, or a combination.

Also the ‘quality’ of the advertisement links can be specified. You can exclude sites that for example have a PageRank less than 2.

The next step is to create your link, and set the importance.
In the last step you can specify exactly how much backlinks you would like to get from sites with the pagerank you’ve selected earlier.

It’s that easy. The last thing I would like to talk about is their referral program.
If you got excepted into TNX, you can also earn some extra with affiliates. Whenever you refer another webmaster, you’ll get 13,3% off all TNX points that are generated by your referral. And in addition you’ll receive 5% of all payments made by a referred advertiser.
